Art After Dark - Children's Museum Tucson

Join CMT and UArizona College of Humanities Africana Studies Department for the debut of Cuentacuentos, featuring live storytellers from UArizona every month from October through April.

Through Cuentacuentos children will learn about diverse cultures using rich storytelling traditions, visual arts, and hands-on activities. The Children’s Museum Tucson will enhance each storytelling program with complementary themed, interactive arts engagement.

Cuentacuentos is supported with a grant from AZ Humanities, a statewide nonprofit that supports public programs to promote understanding of the human experience with cultural, educational, and nonprofit organizations across Arizona.

Art after Dark is also supported by Arizona Arizona Commission on the Arts, Armstrong McDonald Foundation, and the City of Tucson.

Every second Saturday, the Museum hosts a local arts groups at the Museum with free admission. This event includes hands-on fun from 5:30-7:30 pm. Enjoy our beautiful courtyard, or step inside for some play-based learning.
